Born in Salem, Oregon, Jake traversed the North American continent when he was but a wee babe to take up residence in South Carolina.  

Originally living near Charleston, he moved to Rock Hill, SC in 2001 to attend Winthrop University.  It was there that he attained enough know-how to earn his BA in Visual Communcations with an emphasis on Illustration.  Having graduated in 2006, he still lives in Rock Hill where he continues to create stories and wonderful pictures.
